Trinity Rotary names officers

The Trinity Rotary Club of New Port Richey has named new officers for the coming year.

Laurel Robinson will lead activities as president.

She will be assisted by Mary Ellen Adams, president-elect; John Karel, vice president; Carol Kinnard, secretary; Rich Balkcom, treasurer; Harold Graham, sergeant-at-arms; and Harry D. Helmrich, editor.

Ann Addino is chairman of the board. She was named Rotarian of the Year and received the Paul Harris Fellow Award.

Directors include Angelo Rossello, Jim Colvin, Marsha Noble, Jack Smith, Lynn Frankenfield, Jim Lanpher and Sandy Barley.

The Trinity Rotary Club meets at 12:15 p.m. Fridays at the Heritage Springs Country Club in New Port Richey.

All are invited to rehearsal by Suncoast Harmony

Suncoast Harmony, a local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, is hosting a special rehearsal at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hudson Beach.

Those interested in watching the chorus as the members work on their a cappella harmony are welcome. Members of Suncoast Harmony come from all parts of the community. Formal vocal training is not necessary for membership.

Holiday VFW post to host dinner and dance Tuesday

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Holiday Post 10167 is hosting a dinner and dance at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the post home, 4619 Bartelt Road, Holiday. A complete spaghetti with meatballs dinner will be served with a glass of wine for $5.25. Mike Reimbisz will provide music from 6 to 9 p.m. For information, call 938-5977.
