The Nature Coast Chapter of the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers recently elected the following officers for 2001-2002: John Mince, president, Spring Hill; Yvonne Shepard, president-elect and Jean Creamer, secretary, both of Inverness; Gordon Lennon, treasurer, Port Richey. The next meeting will be 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9 at the China King Buffet, 10069 U.S. 19, Port Richey. The meeting will serve as the annual installation and awards banquet.
Verizon Wireless is opening its first Port Richey store at 9304 U.S. 19 N. It is the 16th Verizon Wireless stand-alone location in Southwest Florida, out of 60 stores across the state.
Greene Builders was recently selected to offer homes in Phase VI, the last enclave in the gated village of Fox Wood at the master-planned community of Trinity in southwest Pasco County.
Community Hospital of New Port Richey will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a dedication ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the hospital's main lobby. A reception by invitation only will follow.
Inland Homes recently opened the Sanibel model in a village called Heron Pointe at Sable Ridge, a community in southern Pasco County.
The Dayspring Academy, Pasco County's first charter school, recently moved into its new 11,000-square-foot location on Little Road, said Heide Tuttle at Prudential Tropical Realty, who handled the leasing transaction.
