Regions Bank, West Central Florida Division, recently appointed James C. Langenmayr as senior vice president of the commercial loan division. Langenmayr will be working at the bank's main office in Inverness, where he will have commercial lending responsibilities in the bank's three-county market of Citrus, Hernando and Marion. He was most recently employed at AmSouth Bank.

Fred Clark, executive director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County, recently attended the national conference for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America in New Orleans. The conference is designed to improve services to local clubs. Volunteer and professional leaders attended the conference seminars. Clark also participated in keynote presentations on the movement's past, current activities and its focus for the future.

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, Homosassa Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Citrus County Economic Development Council are planning Industry Appreciation Week for Sept. 18 through 22. The Christmas parades for Crystal River and Inverness are in the early planning stages. The Crystal River parade will be Dec. 2 and the Inverness parade will be Dec. 9. The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, the city of Crystal River and the city of Inverness will sponsor the events. The planning committee is taking suggestions on a parade theme.
