Fine Arts fundraiser set

SPRING HILL -- Tickets are available for "Classical Elegance at Twilight," the fall fundraiser for the Hernando County Fine Arts Council's Nimmagadda Cultural Center, at 6 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Wellington Country Club at Seven Hills. 'Fun-Nite' a fundraiser

SHADY HILLS -- A "Fun-Nite Dinner" will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at VFW Post 8681, 18940 Drayton St.

The event features McKight's Karaoke, a barbecue or roasted chicken dinner, a dance contest and singing contest. The prize is $100 in each contest.

Advance tickets are $7.50, or $8.50 at the door. Proceeds will benefit cancer aid and research. Call (727) 856-1860 or (727) 856-2508.
