Downtown St. Petersburg Gallery Walk -- Downtown venues open their doors for monthly event Saturday.

Venus De Milo in Twentieth Century Art -- Disarmingly charming, the ancient icon translated into fine art and popular culture, appears many times and in many ways at the Salvador Dali Museum.

underCURRENT/ overVIEW5 -- Fifth in Tampa Museum of Art's summer series on area artists expands to include talents north and south of Hillsborough and Pinellas. Also on view are contemporary art glass from the Basch collection and works from the permanent collection.

Jack Dowd's Last Call -- Sarasota-based artist Jack Dowd looks to New York City for a whimsical life-size bar scene. Also on view: treasures from contemporary permanent collection. West Galleries, Ringling Museum of Art.

Bak, Terwilliger -- Two powerful one-person shows at the Florida Holocaust Museum join permanent installation to say, "Never forget."
