Aztecs, art and more
Artist Aurora Heuple speaks on love in the days of the Aztecs at 7 p.m. Saturday at Soho South Gallery, 2105 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, where her work is on display during the monthly Downtown Arts Association walk. The display continues through Sept. 1. (Pictured is Summer, in clay and acrylic.)
Other events during the walk include Don Williams on the potter's wheel at Heavenly Things, 216 First Ave. N, and Alan Promenade demonstrating lampworked dichroic glass at Crystal Mirage in The Pier.
The walk, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, is free. Pick up a guide with map at any participating venue:
