Casey allowed six hits, walked two and struck out six for his seventh victory. He outdueled Peter Fisher, who pitched a five-hitter and struck out 11. ST. PETERSBURG 8, CHARLOTTE 3: Jose Velasquez went 4-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs scored, and Andrew Beinbrink went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored for the visiting Devil Rays. Nathan Ruhl gave up three runs, two earned, on five hits in five innings and struck out six for the win. Jeff Sparks pitched four no-hit, shutout innings and struck out six. CLEARWATER 9, SARASOTA 6: Eric Schreimann went 2-for-3 with three RBI, and the host Phillies mounted a 14-hit attack.
