© St. Petersburg Times, Summer extravaganzaTeens for Charitable Causes, a group made up of Pinellas County teenagers, will present the original comedy Starstruck in Hollywood 2001 at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Countryside High School auditorium. The variety show about the antics of a Hollywood director, actors and fans was written by Lisa Nicole and Chanel Thomas, both 14, choreographed by Amanda Witt, 13, and will star 13 performers. It will feature singing, piano duets, dancing and comedy. Proceeds will benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Countryside High School is at 3000 State Road 580, Clearwater. Casual countryDown-to-earth entertainer Mary Chapin Carpenter, who recently released her eighth CD Time*Sex*Love, will bring her poetic folk and country alto sound to Ruth Eckerd Hall at 8 tonight. Known as a sincere, engaging on-the-road singer, the New Jersey-born Carpenter made fans out of listeners in the 1990s with such hits as I Feel Lucky, Not Too Much to Ask and Quittin' Time. Time*Sex*Love, Carpenter's first record in five years, has more of a pop flair. If you go, you'll probably hear Carpenter sing songs from it including What Was it Like, Going Home and King of Love.
