Bolesco Coffee Klutch offer alcohol-free setting

MADEIRA BEACH -- The Boles family has opened the Bolesco Coffee Klutch with a Twist at 14995 Gulf Blvd., Madeira Beach. The ownership group include brothers Benyamin and Shenouda Boles and their wives, Kathie and Amin. Along with tea, coffee drinks and sandwiches, the Coffee Klutch offers kushari (kush-sher-eee), an Egyptian pasta dish. The family opened the business because they wanted to offer people a place to socialize in an alcohol-free setting. "We wanted to create a safe haven," said Kathie Boles. Hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Hamilton & McKyton law office opens on Central Avenue

ST. PETERSBURG -- Mark S. Hamilton and Richard J. McKyton have opened Hamilton & McKyton, 1229 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. Hamilton and McKyton will specialize in criminal defense, marital and family law, personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Before opening the firm, Hamilton served as an associate with Koch & Harrington in Clearwater; McKyton served as an associate with Abbey, Adams, Byelick, Kiernan, Mueller and Lancaster in St. Petersburg. Hamilton and McKyton were prosecutors for the state attorney's office based in Clearwater.

Candy Bouquet opens shop on Fourth Street N

ST PETERSBURG -- Nancy Kratzer has opened a franchise for the Candy Bouquet, 1115 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg. Candy Bouquet is a business specializing in floral arrangement-style bouquets made up of sweets. The 11-year-old corporation is based in Little Rock, Ark. Before opening the franchise, Kratzer served as director for Ceridian Benefits in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg area YMCA names chief financial officer

ST. PETERSBURG -- Mark Popp has been named chief financial officer for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg. Before joining the YMCA, Popp worked as controller for the Home Association of Tampa.
