THE LANDSCAPE OF ART: The work of Spring Hill Art League artist of the month Audrey Coy will be on display through August during business hours at the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, 10005 Cortez Blvd. in Brooksville. MURDER AND MAYHEM: Three Murders and It's Only Monday opens Sept. 6 and continues Thursdays and weekends through Sept. 23 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. THE TROUBADOR: The Centennial Opera Group will present the video of Guiseppi Verdi's Il Trovatore (The Troubador) at 12:30 p.m. today at the Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday. The video features Luciano Pavarotti, Eva Marton, Dolora Zajick and Sherrill Milnes in the lead roles. Admission is free.

CURTAIN CALLS

The new Angel Cabaret Theatre in Southgate Shopping Center will hold auditions for musicals and plays for its upcoming season at 7 p.m. Sunday for ages 7-15 years old and 7 p.m. Monday for adults. The auditions will be at the Studio of Performing Arts, Sunrise Plaza, 11720 U.S. 19, Port Richey. Those auditioning for musicals should bring a photo and resume, sheet music or CD or cassette (without vocal) and be prepared to dance and read from a script. All positions are paid. The Hernando County Fine Arts Council will hold auditions for the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta The Mikado at 7 p.m. Aug. 24 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Springstead High School Theater, 3300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Auditions for Expressions, the Dance Company, will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 25 at the Centre for Dance, Drama & Music, Regency Park Blvd., Port Richey. The Suncoast Harmony Chorus, a local chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, is searching for 10 singers and will have a special rehearsal for women interested in learning about the group at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gulf High School, 5355 School Road, New Port Richey.
