    Picnic in the Park

As summer winds down, Safety Harbor will host an old-fashioned picnic in the park from 6 to 9 tonight at the new Gazebo Park on Main Street in the downtown area. This family event will feature the live rock band Brother 2 Brother, games for children and food and beer vendors. Participating nearby businesses will be open for shopping and dining. The event is free. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair. For information call (727) 799-2200.

    Fund raiser

A benefit for Jayme Seybold, who was severely injured in a car accident in May, begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at Indian Motorcycles of Clearwater, 6170 Ulmerton Road, and T-Backs Lounge, 6250 Ulmerton Road. The event features food, a motorcycle show, music, raffles and other games. For information or to donate items for an auction and raffle, call (727) 559-9780.
