Jacksonville Ed White will play at Jefferson on Oct. 12, giving the Dragons a ninth regular-season game.

Ed White (8-5) reached the Class 5A region final last season before losing 27-20 to Jacksonville Tate in three overtimes.

Jefferson (10-2) reached the 3A region semifinals before falling to Titusville Astronaut 16-10 in overtime.

The Dragons had to rework much of its schedule after opening-day enrollment exceeded projections, causing them to be reassigned from 2A to 4A.

Jefferson has an open date remaining on Sept. 14.
