When Pinellas County schools open Wednesday, 46,000 students will be riding the bus.

Last week, the district mailed postcards with bus route information to the homes of every student who is eligible to ride the bus.

Parents seeking information also may call their children's schools or the district's transportation help desk at 547-7174 on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The complete bus schedule is available online at the district's Web site.

Go to http://www.pinellas.k12.fl.us. On the right side of the home page, find the link called "bus routes" and click on it.

The district says it will not keep the page active past Wednesday.

The schedules also will be shown on the district's television station, WPDS-Ch. 14 on Time Warner cable, at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
