© St. Petersburg Times, PromotionsWilliam L. Bradshaw Jr. achieved the rank of chief petty officer for the Navy reserves. He attended St. Petersburg and Gibbs high schools and graduated from Florida Atlantic University in West Palm Beach. Bradshaw entered the Navy in 1978, serving in active duty before joining the reserves in 1987. He is a technical account manager at Vitria Technology in Alpharetta, Ga. He recently returned from a mission on the USS Kennedy. He is the son of Beverly Foster of Clearwater and William Bradshaw of Palm Harbor. Lt. Col. Tori Bruzese has been named post commander at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. She worked with the 2001 Armed Forces Inaugural Committee and her military career has spanned 20 years, including three years as a professor at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. She has bachelors' degrees in geology and geography and a master's degree in remote sensing/geographic information systems. She has been assigned to engineering units with the Army Corps of Engineers and Department of the Army and Department of Defense. She is a 1976 graduate of Largo High School and a 1981 graduate of the University of South Florida. She is the daughter of Victoria and Anthony Bruzese of Belleair Bluffs. Completion of trainingPfc. Justin C. Jones, a 2000 graduate of Dunedin High School, completed basic training at Parris Island Marines Recruit Depot in South Carolina. He will serve in the Marine reserves. He has completed one year of college in criminology and will return to classes at St. Petersburg College.
