BROADWAY REVUE: A Taste of Broadway continues this weekend and next at the Boathouse Restaurant, 1470 U.S. 19 S, Homosassa. The 90-minute show features classic songs from Broadway musicals, including a tribute to the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. Paul Stevio, Amy Easter and Vanelis Vazquez are the singers. Tickets are $25 and include a meal of either prime rib or stuffed flounder. Saturday's show is sold out. Show times are 5:30 p.m. for the Sept. 1 show and 2 p.m. for the remaining Sunday matinees. ROCK ALL DAY: Seven local rock band will participate in Rockstock Sunday at Jim's Club 19, 3383 U.S. 19 S, Homosassa Springs. Scheduled to appear are Sand Witch, Harmonic Discharge, Oddessy, Drought, Strutt, The Bad Weather Band and Hearts of Fire. Muisc starts at 1 p.m., admission is $5. 628-6698.

WILDLIFE EXHIBIT: The Central Ridge Library of the Citrus County Library System is hosting an informational display by the Friends of the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge Complex. The Refuge Complex consists of Chassahowitzka, Crystal River and Tampa Bay's Egmont Key National Wildlife Refuges. The trifold display includes photos of the refuge lands, the groups' quarterly newsletter, membership applications, maps of the refuges and Celebrate Wildlife stickers. The information will be displayed until Sept. 15. For information, call the Central Ridge Library at 746-6622 or visit the library system's Web site at www.cclib.org. Central Ridge Library is at 425 W Roosevelt Blvd., Beverly Hills. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

LOOK AHEAD

PLAYHOUSE 19 OPENER: The musical Cabaret opens the 2001-2002 season at Playhouse 19, 865 U.S. 19 S, Crystal River. The play runs from Sept. 6 to Sept. 30. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15. Call the box office at 563-1333.

RHYTHM TONES: The Rhythm Tones will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Beverly Hills Recreation Association Clubhouse, 77 Civic Circle. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets are $4 each. Call 746-4882.

CRAFTS COUNCIL SHOW: The Citrus County Crafts Council will hold its annual Harvest Moon Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 1 at the National Guard Armory in Crystal River. The show features the work of about 60 crafters. The show also includes a bake sale and refreshments, along with free parking and admission. It is a fundraiser for Hospice of Citrus County. BEVERLY HILLS CHORUS: The Chorus of Beverly Hills begins rehearsals for its 11th season at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 4 at the Beverly Hills Recreation Center. The rehearsal will be for the Christmas Holiday concert. Call Dee Schaefer at 746-3387 or Jackie Dean at 527-8405.

WATERCOLOR CLUB TRIP: The Citrus Watercolor Club is planning a bus trip to Boca Raton for the annual Florida Watercolor Society's Convention and Exhibit on Sept. 21 and 22. The bus leaves at 7 a.m. from First United Methodist Church on County Road 491 S, Inverness, and returns the following evening. Cost is $40. Hotel rooms and $10 admission to the exhibit are extra. CURTAIN CALLS

AUDITIONS: The Citrus County Art League, 2644 N Annapolis Ave., will have auditions at 7 p.m. Sept. 4 and 5 for its season opener, The Rainmaker. The show opens Oct. 12 and runs weekends through Oct. 28. Call 746-0648.

AUDITIONS: The Central Florida Master Choir has openings in all voice parts for the upcoming year. Auditions will be at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church on State Road 200, Ocala. Prospective members must be able to read music. For a specific audition time, call (352)873-4347 or e-mail srobinson@mfi.net, or just show up at 7 p.m. Bring a prepared piece to sing. Accompaniment will be provided. If unable to attend, call for another date. The choir rehearses from 7:15 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Queen of Peace.
