THE LANDSCAPE OF ART: The work of Spring Hill Art League artist of the month Audrey Coy will be on display through August during business hours at the Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, 10005 Cortez Blvd. in Spring Hill. LOOK AHEAD

MURDER AND MAYHEM: Three Murders and It's Only Monday opens Sept. 6 and continues Thursdays and weekends through Sept. 23 at Stage West Community Playhouse, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Shows are at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and at 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for students 17 and younger. The theater's box office is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and one hour before each show. Call 683-5113.

IN THE GREEN: Country singer Lee Greenwood will perform Sept. 1 at Rock Crusher Canyon Amphitheater, 275 S Rock Crusher Road, Crystal River. Opening act the Malones at 7 p.m.; Greenwood performs at 8:15 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission; $7.50 for children 6 to 12 and 5 and under are free. Parking is $5. SWINGIN' IN THE CANYON: The Z Street Little Big Band will perform at Help Children Grow, a fundraiser for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. Admission with dinner is $35; show only $15. CURTAIN CALLS

The Hernando County Fine Arts Council will hold auditions for the Gilbert and Sullivan operetta The Mikado at 7 p.m. today and 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Springstead High School Theater, 3300 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. Prepare 16 bars of music that demonstrate range and vocal strengths. Performances will be the last two weekends in January at the theater. All roles are available. Call 597-8777 or 796-7469.

Stage West Community Playhouse will hold auditions for the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying at 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Saturday at the Forum theater, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Production dates are Thursdays and weekends Nov. 1-18. Call 683-5113.

The Hernando Symphony Orchestra is auditioning musicians, particularly those who play trumpet, French horn, oboe, bassoon, cello, viola and percussion. For an audition time, call conductor Wayne Raymond, 688-0427.

New Millennia Studio will hold auditions for its production of A Fireside Mystery Dinner and A Celtic Christmas Carol on Sept. 4 and 5 at the studio, 316 S Broad St., Brooksville. Parts are available for male and female actors ages 18 to 80. (Children's audition for Christmas Carol will be in October.) Auditions for Expressions, the Dance Company, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Centre for Dance, Drama & Music, Regency Park Boulevard, Port Richey.
