    Adult computer classes

    Catch up on your computer skills at Palm Harbor Community School, which is offering two computer courses for adults in September.

    A Microsoft Word class is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Sept. 4. The price for the four-week course is $48.

    An introductory computer class is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Sept 10. The price for the three-week course is $37, plus course manual. For more information or to pre-register, call (727) 669-1140 between 2 and 9 p.m.

    Parenting classes

    Tutors needed for at-risk kids

    The city of Largo Recreation and Parks Department Outreach Division is looking for volunteer tutors of all ages for its after-school tutorial program. For more information, call Marilynn Hall, outreach educational coordinator, at (727) 587-6720, ext. 5007.
