ADMISSION

County schools charge between $4 and $5 for each game.

RADIO

Pasco Pirates home games are broadcast live on WDCF-AM 1350. Zephyrhills Bulldogs home games are broadcast live on WZHR-AM 1400. Games are also broadcast live on the Internet at www.radio-kaos.com. Coach's Corner, a weekly radio show with Pasco players and coaches, is broadcast live on WDCF-AM 1350 Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Zephyrhills Beef O'Brady's at 7337 Gall Boulevard.

CLASSIFICATIONS

Teams are divided by enrollment by the FHSAA into six classifications ranging from the largest, Class 6A, to the smallest, Class A.

DISTRICTS

Land O'Lakes, Mitchell, Ridgewood and River Ridge will battle Central and Springstead in Class 4A, District 6. Gulf, Hudson, Pasco, Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills will take on Hernando in Class 3A, District 7. Each district has two automatic playoff bids at stake, for the champion and runner-up.

CONFERENCE

Pasco County's nine teams form the Sunshine Athletic Conference. The conference has no bearing on the postseason, except that wins outside the district are factored into awarding at-large playoff berths. The conference champion is the de facto county champion.

STATE PLAYOFFS

District champions and runners-up advance from the 12 districts in each classification. Eight at-large teams will also make the playoffs based on record and schedule strength.

GET THE SCORES

Each Friday night, the Times will post scores on its Web site between 11 p.m. and midnight. Check www.sptimes.com
