Christopher Lambert, the original Immortal in the 1986 cult film, Highlander, returns in the sequel, Highlander: Endgame, opening today (without a screening forWeekend review). Lambert is teamed with Adrian Paul, star of the Highlander syndicated TV series, in another time-tripping battle against evil.
Amanda Peet (The Whole Nine Yards) becomes the object of desire for three ladies' men in Whipped, a profane comedy that once earned an NC-17 rating for its raunchy talk. Things have reportedly been toned down before today's nationwide opening. Destination Films didn't schedule a screening for Tampa Bay area critics.
