OUTLOOK: Boxing returns to the Tampa Bay area as the Marriott Waterside hosts its first event. The One Punch Productions card features St. Petersburg junior lightweight "Diamond" David Santos. Ranked No. 5 by the IBF, Santos (40-4, 26 KOs) takes on veteran Jerry Cooper (18-6, 7 KOs). In the co-main event, Tampa super-bantamweight Carlos "Bam Bam" Diaz puts his 6-0 record on the line against Joel Bacerra, who is 3-0 . Diaz has won all six of his fights by knockout. Local amateurs Felipe Cordero and George Walker make their pro debut in a junior welterweight bout, as does heavyweight Jay Jenkins, who faces Randy Martin, winless in two fights. The card has a women's fight: Bradenton's Sharice Gray meets Shirvelle Williams in a junior welterweight contest.
