The PTA fall workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Pinellas Park High School, 6305 118th Ave N, Largo. Registration brochures will be available at all schools.

GRE preparation course

St. Petersburg College will hold a combined GRE math and English review class at its Clearwater campus. The eight-week course runs from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday nights beginning Sept. 24. The tuition is $199, which includes course materials. For information, call SPC's Lifelong Learning department at (727) 341-4451.

Clearwater Adult Education Center

This month, the Clearwater Adult Education Center will offer several courses, including conversational English for speakers of other languages, Spanish and several computer classes. Tuition for each course varies. The education center is at Clearwater High School, 540 S Hercules Ave. For information, call (727) 469-4190 between 2 and 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

New student volunteer guide available

The Service Learning Guides, which list more than 30 Pinellas County non-profit agencies, contain useful information to help students get involved in the community.
