The huntress as earth mother
Diana the Huntress, in cloisonne on enamel at just 7 by 10 inches, is one of several works in Mary Klein's show, "One Possible Reality: New Ways to See One's Life," on view Saturday at ArtSpace, an artists' studio space, during the Downtown Arts Association's monthly gallery walk.
The works share the common theme of "earth mothers" from many cultures, which grew out of Klein's research on the subject.
Also of special note is a new location for the Glass Canvas Gallery, now at 146 Second St. N (Palais Royale building).
Saturday's walk, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., is free. For more information call (727) 360-0900.
