TAMPA -- An apartment complex in Town 'N Country has been the scene of three sexual assaults in the past two weeks, one involving a young girl.

Investigators think the assaults at Arbor Lakes Apartments at 6161 Memorial Highway may be related and are asking the public for help.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office described the following assaults:

On Aug. 26, at 11:30 p.m., a woman answered a knock on her door. When she opened the door, a man was standing there masturbating. She closed the door and the man ran. She described him as Hispanic, with black hair, 5-feet-6 and 200 pounds.

On Aug. 28, at 2 a.m., the same thing happened to another woman. She described the man as Hispanic, with black hair and a thin mustache, about 5-feet-10 and 200 pounds.

On Sunday, investigators said, a man broke into an apartment at 3 a.m. He took a young girl from her bed and brought her outside, where he sexually assaulted her. When she screamed, he ran. Witnesses described him as white, with black hair, about 5-feet-10 and 180 pounds.

The Sheriff's Office asks that anyone with information call Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS.

George W. to visit Pinellas on Monday

George W. Bush will bring his campaign for president to Pinellas and Palm Beach counties on Monday, aides confirmed Wednesday.

They said locations and times of the events were still being arranged. The Texas governor's trip to the state underscores how competitive the race with Al Gore is in Florida.

Bush was in Miami less than two weeks ago, and Gore was in Tampa on Monday.
