    Detectives arrest five dancers at adult club

    CLEARWATER -- Five female dancers at Personality's were arrested Thursday night and charged with violating a county ordinance banning nudity in an alcohol establishment.

    The Pinellas Sheriff's office cited the women for not properly covering their genitals or cleavage in the adult entertainment club at 20866 U.S. 19 N. The women, ages 18 to 35, were fined $32, said Sheriff's spokeswoman Marianne Pasha.

    The detectives were there as part of an ongoing ordinance compliance check conducted at adult entertainment establishments, Pasha said.

    Police department hosts open house

    LARGO -- The Largo Police Department is hosting an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

    Visitors will be able to view and test equipment, see canine demonstrations and enjoy refreshments.

    The department is located at 201 Highland Ave. Call 587-6717 for more information.
