LAKELAND -- Brian Burgman rushed 17 times for 148 yards and a touchdown as Brandon beat Lakeland George Jenkins at Veterans Stadium on Friday night.

The Eagles' win marks their first district victory in more than a year and comes on the heels of a double-overtime victory last week.

Brandon's defense held Jenkins to 88 yards through the air and cruised into halftime with an insurmountable 21-7 lead.
