The Citrus County Republican Executive Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Citrus County Builder's Association, County Road 491, Lecanto.

The supervisor of elections will provide forms for qualification as precinct committee representative, which must be filled out and signed at this time. For information, call Weston Stow, chairman, 564-0633.

The North Suncoast Republican Club will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Sugarmill Woods Golf & Country Club, 1 Douglas St., Homosassa. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. For information, call 382-0811.

The East Citrus Republican Club will hold its annual picnic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 23 at Whispering Pines Park in Inverness. For information, call Debra Fredrick at 726-2050.

The TOO FAR organization extends an open invitation to candidates for Congress, state senator, state representative and county commissioner to speak at its meetings through September.

Candidates may request five minutes. Additionally, any candidate may attend meetings to get petitions signed, hand out literature and greet people. The candidates will be recognized during the meeting. This invitation includes Citrus and Sumter counties.

TOO FAR is a grass-roots environmental group of residents with the common goal of protecting water resources. The organization meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at the East Citrus Community Center on State Road 44 E in Inverness.

Candidates may call the TOO FAR office at 726-5004.
