© St. Petersburg Times, EVENTS: Weeki Wachee Springs has announced it will host the "Cruzin' Customz" Car and Truck Show on Sept. 22 and 23. Participants will vie for 50 awards for Vehicle of Distinction, Best of Show and Outstanding of Show, as well as awards for best paint, best engine, best graphics and best use of neon. Registration for exhibitors is $35, which includes two two-day passes to the attraction. Registration for the Special Saturday Night Cruzin' Show is $10. Those wishing to exhibit should call the organizers, Kathy and Bill Cox, at (904) 672-6388. WHO'S NEWS: Computer Planet has announced the appointment of Joseph Steger II as manager of its Spring Hill store. Steger recently relocated to Spring Hill with his family from Uniontown, Ohio, where he specialized in desktop and laptop technology and network administration. Computer Planet is at 7233 Forest Oaks Blvd., in Forest Oaks Plaza. It specializes in customized computer systems and computer training. Most classes are fee-based, but some are free. Call 684-7470 for details. Jane Hubbard has joined the team of Keller Williams Realty. Before moving to Florida in 1985, Hubbard had a Georgia real estate license. She also holds a Florida state mortgage broker license and is a member of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce. She has been active with various organizations in Hernando County. She will be working in all phases of real estate at Keller Williams Realty. Linda Beckner has also joined the team of Keller Williams Realty as a full-time agent. Beckner worked part time in real estate for 16 years in the Tampa Bay area for her husband, a real estate broker. She relocated five years ago to the Weeki Wachee area. Warman Financial Services has announced the appointments of Tracie L. Stogner as vice president of insurance services and sales, and Jacilyn Collier as insurance customer representative. Stogner comes to Warman Financial Services with almost 10 years' experience in insurance. She is licensed to write the full range of insurances, including auto, homeowners, boat, workers' compensation, general liability, business auto and business property. Stogner has lived in Hernando County for more than 25 years and currently serves on the board of directors of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce.
