© St. Petersburg Times, Girl injured in accident on Howard Frankland A girl was injured Sunday night after she was ejected in a car accident in the eastbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge. The girl, whose age wasn't known, and another person were taken to Tampa General Hospital after the accident, which was reported at 8 p.m. on the Pinellas County side of the bridge, emergency officials said. About 30 minutes later, another accident was reported near the first one. Three people were taken to Tampa General Hospital from the second accident. The accidents were being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol late Sunday. Husband faces charges in slaying and beatingA Pinellas Park man who found his wife involved in sexual activity with another man is accused of killing the man and battering his wife early Sunday, according to a Pinellas Park police report. Officers arrested Richard Frew, 38, of 8400 49th St. N, Apt. 1713, after he punched and kicked Thomas Aston Jr., 40, of Apt. 1523 at the same address, according to the police report. Aston died from head injuries. Police said Frew also hit his wife, Deborah Frew, in the face and broke her nose. The beatings occurred at Aston's apartment, and Frew later admitted to striking him, police said. Frew faces charges of second-degree murder and aggravated domestic battery. He was being held Sunday at the Pinellas County Jail. No bail amount was set. Deborah Frew could not be reached for comment.
