Many thrills and only one disappointment

© St. Petersburg Times, published September 11, 2000

The Bucs played an outstanding game, and it was very exciting to watch the offense come together and put points on the board. The defense was incredible, as usual, always a thrill to watch.

The only low point of the game was watching Brad Culpepper sitting on the wrong side of the field. Brad should have been enjoying this win with the rest of the Bucs and the fans. His absence from the team really hit home today, and I know that I speak for many fans when I say that Brad should not have been released after all the years he devoted to the Bucs. He should be right here, in this town he called home for so long, with the rest of this Super Bowl-bound team.

As for the rest of the team, kudos. It was a great game.
