    BOWser Ball will be Oct. 6

    BELLEAIR -- The third annual BOWser Ball Auction and CATsino Night to benefit the Pinellas Animal Foundation is planned for 6 p.m. Oct. 6 at Belleview Biltmore Resort & Spa. The ball is open to the public, and all proceeds will benefit educational and service programs focusing on animal care and responsible pet ownership. Tickets are $65 a person. A table for 10 is $600 and comes with two complimentary tickets if ordered before Sept. 22. Sponsorships from $1,000 to $15,000 are available.     Soccer registration for special youths

    SEMINOLE -- The Seminole Junior Warhawks Athletic Association is registering youths with special needs for its upcoming outreach program for soccer season. Registration and field days are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 22 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Warhawk complex at 11500 125th St. N, Largo. A copy of each youth's birth certificate and $45 are needed to register. For information, call Steven or Linda Siesel at 595-7752.
