Florencia developer honored at meeting
JMC Communities of St. Petersburg, developer of the Florencia, a condominium in the city's waterfront district, last month was honored with an Aurora Award for water-wise design and construction at the Southeast Building Conference in Atlanta. The conference included builders, developers and others involved in the construction industry from 11 states. The Florencia's drought-tolerant plants, minimum use of lawn grass, along with the plumbing and weather-controlled irrigation equipment contributed to the honor.
