Osceola 14, Pinellas Park 0

PINELLAS PARK -- Osceola defeated Pinellas Park 14-0 behind the running of Jason Teague.

After an interception by Sergio Felton in the first quarter, Teague ran 47 yards on five plays and scored the game's opening points on a 10-yard run. Teague bettered that in the second quarter, when he scampered 39 yards up the middle for a 14-0 lead.

PLAY OF THE GAME: On a third-and-1 from the Patriots 39, Teague ran up the middle, stiff-armed a linebacker and outran a defensive back for a 14-0 lead.

PLAYERS OF THE GAME: Teague rushed for 120 yards in the first half and 193 yards total on 24 carries.

KEY STATISTIC: While Teague rushed for 193 yards by himself (averaging just more than 8 yards a carry) Pinellas Park rushed for 96 yards.

THEY SAID IT: "Coach (George) Palmer told us just how lucky we are to be playing this sport at this time when other people are going through so much stress in New York and Washington, D.C." -- Tommy Ryan, Osceola defensive tackle.
