LARGO -- Two men from Rome, Ga. have been arrested on attempted first-degree murder charges in connection with the April 4 stabbing of a Pinellas County businessman.

Keith L. Orr, 34, of Rome, and Edwin Zarr, whose local address was 1016 Green Leaf Court in Tarpon Springs, were arrested on warrants Thursday. Orr was being held at the Pinellas jail in lieu of $1-million. Bail for Zarr was set at $750,000.

Sheriff's spokesman Cal Dennie said the men are accused of stabbing Miller Cooper, 61, and stealing his wallet in an attack at 2727 Ulmerton Road. Cooper recovered from his wounds. Dennie said Zarr paid Orr $2,500 to stab Cooper, owner of American InfoAge, because he wanted revenge for a bad business deal. He refused to elaborate because the investigation is incomplete.
