LARGO -- Are you looking for some easy, low-cost ways to decorate your home? If so, the Highland Recreation Complex in Largo has some classes just for you.

Marsha Goins is starting a series of workshops on how to use glass painting, wood painting and other techniques to transform ordinary objects into works of art.

The workshops will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at the Highland Recreation Complex, 400 N Highland Ave., Largo. Cost per session is $11 with a resident recreation card, $13.75 with a non-resident recreation card and $16.75 without a card.

Depending upon the response, Goins might offer future workshops on rubber stamping, memory books, working with clay, soapmaking and papermaking.

To sign up or for information, call the complex at 518-3016.
