As part of Court TV's fall premiere week, four new two-hour daytime shows will debut today. The programs will further provide a new on-air look to Court TV's distinctive analysis of the day's legal issues and courtroom proceedings. The new shows are:

Open Court (9 to 11 a.m.) Hosted by legal journalist and lawyer Michael Ayala, Open Court will open the day's trial coverage with a discussion of how the trial raises issues that affect our daily lives and will provide viewers with the context of the day's proceedings.

Trial Heat (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) Former prosecutor Nancy Grace and former defense lawyer June Grasso will add further analysis and perspective to the personal tragedies, emotion and legal complexities behind the trial.

Both Sides (2 to 4 p.m.) Monday through Thursday, managing editor and chief anchor Fred Graham will be joined by lawyers and newsmakers as they discuss and debate the most important and controversial trials around the country. On Fridays, legendary trial lawyer and Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz will host.

Closing Arguments (4 to 6 p.m.) Rikki Klieman, former criminal defense lawyer, will offer a final analysis of the day's courtroom proceedings. On Fridays, she will be joined by famed New York trial lawyer Eddie Hayes.

In addition to the new format for analysis and commentary of Court TV's trial coverage throughout the day, Crier Today, airing Monday through Friday from 1 to 2 p.m., hosted by former prosecutor and judge Catherine Crier, will continue to explore the stories behind some of today's most important issues. Court TV will also continue to cover breaking news from around the country and the world in news breaks every hour on the half-hour, as usual.
