Sign up for autographs

Chart-topping R&B sensation Destiny's Child, currently the best-selling female singing group in the country, gives Tampa Bay area fans a special treat as Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle sign autographs Saturday at 2 p.m. at Tyrone Square in St. Petersburg.

Destiny's Child will chat with fans, then trek over to Tampa's Ice Palace to perform with that spunky Grammy-winning diva-in-training Christina Aguilera. The former New Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeer recently canceled several concerts because of a nasty sore throat, so go easy on her. Pack some Sucrets.

Aguilera last week released her second album, Mi Reflejo, sung entirely en espanol with several hits redone with new exotic titles. (Genie in a Bottle = Genio Atrapado. Neat, si?)

Christina Aguilera performs with Destiny's Child and soulDecision at 7:30 p.m. Saturday the Ice Palace. Tickets are $22-32.

Licensed to thrill

She may be Pipless, but with a voice as soulful and sultry as Gladys Knight's, you can't go wrong. Knight's powerful pipes -- and her Pips -- made Motown magic on hits such as I Heard It Through the Grapevine, If I Were Your Woman and Neither One Of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye).

Later they scored with Midnight Train to Georgia before breaking up and reuniting a few times.

The solo Knight has since scored hits with It's Gonna Take All Our Love and the James Bond theme, License to Kill.

Opener Jeffrey Osborne is best known for his smooth crooning on the 1980s hits Stay With Me Tonight and On the Wings of Love. After a decade away from music, Osborne returned this year with That's for Sure, an album of similarly funky dance pop.

Gladys Knight performs with special guest Jeffrey Osborne at 8 p.m. Saturday at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $31.75 to $76.75.
