Workshops focus on child behavior

Family Involvement in Functional Assessment Project is hosting the workshop "There's More to My Child than Challenging Behavior" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road. Strategies on how to describe your childs' strengths and needs, and ideas for working effectively with schools will be discussed. Dade City doctor honored for 25 years with AAFP

Rina P. Ayala, MD, a family physician from Dade City, was recently honored for 25 years of membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians. The AAFP is the national medical association representing more than 93,100 family physicians, family practice residents and medical students nationwide.

Support groups

Memorial service planned for hospice patients

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5326 Charles St., will host a Pasco-Hernando Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, led by chaplain Wayne Meadows of Hospice. Survivors of hospice patients or anyone who wishes to remember a loved one is welcome to attend. For information, call (727) 849-4330.
