Ad agency has new creative director
Thom Vanderklipp has been named vice president and creative director of FKQ Advertising, 15351 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater. Before the appointment, Vanderklipp was with St. John & Partners in Jacksonville.
William E. Harris has been elected to the Executive Committee of the St. Petersburg area. Harris is president and chief executive officer of Sempermed USA Inc., a Pinellas County manufacturer of latex and vinyl surgical gloves. The Executive Committee is an international organization of 7,000 chief executive officers.
The Glass Canvas Gallery has moved to 146 Second St. N, St. Petersburg. The art glass gallery includes the work of more than 350 glass artists.
American Stage has named the following people to its executive committee for 2001-2002: Marion Ballard, president; Al Karnavicius, vice president; Homer Duvall III, secretary; and Peter Wells, treasurer.
SSA Foodservice Consultants, a designer of food service facilities in Pinellas Park, has been commissioned to provide the design for the Hard Rock Cafes in Toronto, Austin and Phoenix.
