Back to the show
© St. Petersburg Times, TV takes one more step toward normalcy tonight, as the networks begin a flood of fall season premieres that were delayed a week by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D.C. Some series kicked off on Sunday, including ABC's The Practice and CBS's Richard Dreyfuss drama, The Education of Max Bickford. Others, such as NBC's Lost and UPN's black-centered comedy night, hit the screen even earlier. But the real deluge begins tonight, and we've prepared a handy grid to let you know what airs on which channel each evening in prime time. The grid reflects what the prime-time universe will look like once all the new shows have debuted, which will take several weeks. If a show on the grid has no date, it has already premiered or will debut this week. Some shows, such as ABC's Drew Carey Show and the WB's Charmed, kick off with extended premiere episodes, which we've also noted (CBS's The Ellen Show starts on a different day, debuting with a sneak preview episode at 9:30 tonight, a spot normally occupied by Becker). Feel free to print this out and save it to help guide any future couch potato action. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the quality (or lack of it) in anything you do see. © St. Petersburg Times. All rights reserved. |
