    Tuesday

    CEREMONY: Pinellas County has planned a special ceremony to honor and remember those who died in the terrorist attacks at 8:45 a.m. on the steps of the old courthouse at 324 S Fort Harrison Ave. in downtown Clearwater. It will include a color guard coordinated by Pinellas County Veterans' Services, patriotic music led by Ross Kimura, minister of music at St. Paul United Methodist Church, and the presentation of wreaths by local firefighters, Emergency Medical Services, law enforcement and the military to honor those who died in rescue efforts. A wreath also is to be presented to Nicole Peters, a local resident who survived the World Trade Center attack, in memory of those who lost their lives. Wear red, white and blue.

    SEMINAR: A free seminar, "Making the Living Will Work for You" will be at 2 p.m. at the Palm Harbor Senior Activity Center, 1500 16th St. (727) 771-6000.

    Wednesday

    ART: Edward Gazsi who has illustrated projects for National Geographic will present slides of his work at The Zone Art Lounge at 7:30 p.m. at 121 E Tarpon Ave., Tarpon Springs.

    RED CROSS COLLECTION: Greens fees and cart fees from each round of golf played from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lansbrook Golf Club, Palm Harbor. (727) 784-7333.

    Friday

    POETRY: The Dunedin Public Library will host an open mic poetry cafe from 7 to 9 p.m. at the library, 223 Douglas Ave. Music and refreshments. (727) 298-3080 ext. 259.

    SHOW: The Betty Gorr variety show will be at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Royalty Theater, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $5 to $10. (727) 441-8868.

    SUNSETS AT PIER 60: Enjoy a festival of arts, crafts and entertainment from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pier 60 Pavilion, Clearwater Beach. Tonight it's Lane Change (jazz). Free.
