Hillsborough briefsBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published September 28, 2000 Police sit and wait for suspects to come TEMPLE TERRACE -- Two thieves who broke into a house and stashed the loot in a nearby drainage pipe met with an unwelcome surprise Tuesday, police said. They returned to the secret hiding place hours after robbing a house in the 6100 block of 112th Avenue, and found two duffel bags just as they left them. But instead of finding the laptop computer, guns and jewelry they had put in the bags, they found blankets -- police blankets. About 6 p.m., 18-year-old Giancarlo Rivera of 11808 Skylake Place and Kimberly Summer Shervington, 17, of 7912 Pine Drive, arrived to find the loot missing, police said. As they turned to leave, police stopped them. Rivera was charged with two counts of burglary and four counts of grand theft. Shervington was charged with dealing in stolen property. Man accused of exposing himself to two childrenTAMPA -- Police have charged a 29-year-old Tampa man with exposing himself to children. Stacey Demetrie Isom, 29, of no known address, faces two counts of committing a lewd and lascivious act. Police said he exposed himself to two girls, ages 12 and 14, as they walked home from school Sept. 9 at N 12th and E Emma streets. The children fled unharmed. Wednesday, police saw Isom in the area of 20th and E Diana streets in a car that matched a description given by the victims. The girls identified Isom, police said. © 2006 • All Rights Reserved • Tampa Bay Times
