Tampa Bay briefsBy Times staff writers © St. Petersburg Times, published October 1, 2000 Police seek 2 suspects in armed robbery at ATMPINELLAS PARK -- Police are looking for two men in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Friday evening near an automatic cash machine. Police say just after 7 p.m. two men approached Lori M. Williams, 26, and Kerry B. Hennefent, 29, as they sat in their car after returning from a cash machine at the Publix at 7580 49th St. N. The suspects pointed handguns at the victims, demanded money and ordered both out of the vehicle. According to reports, the two men tried to drive off in the victims' car, but it would not start. The two men then ran away. Teen loses right leg in boating accidentCLEARWATER -- A Palm Harbor teen's lower leg was amputated Saturday when he crashed a water scooter into a boat in Clearwater Pass, authorities said. Mark Wilson, 18, of 2598 Fairway Court Drive, lost his right leg from the knee down in the 7:15 p.m. accident, said Pinellas sheriff's spokeswoman Marianne Pasha. Paramedics in boats looked for the leg but couldn't find it.
