Anita Allison Walters, 38, lifelong resident of Dade City, was diagnosed with skin cancer in 1995. The cost of Walters' illness has led a group of her family and friends to organize a fundraiser to help defray some of her expenses. A barbecue dinner, for a $5 donation, will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the San Antonio Restaurant, 32625 State Road 52. Several items will be auctioned and numerous raffles will take place throughout the afternoon. A trust fund has been set up at First Union Bank; donations to the Anita Allison Walters Trust Fund can be made at any First Union. The Annual Miss Land O'Lakes Pageant will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Land O'Lakes Recreation Complex, 3020 Collier Parkway. The public is invited. Ticket prices are $10 at the door for adults and $8 in advance, $5 for students (ages 12-18) and children (younger than 11). The East Pasco Family YMCA, 37301 Chapel Hill Loop, is offering an eight-week Boot Camp for youths ages 13 to adult from 6-7 p.m. Oct. 9 through Dec. 1. Participants will receive a boot camp T-shirt.
