DADE CITY -- A 55-year-old woman was killed Saturday morning after she was apparently kicked in the head and abdomen by a horse, firefighters and rescue workers said.
The woman, whose name was not available Saturday, was participating in a fox hunt about 8:20 a.m. in the woods southeast of Dade City, said Chief Doug Drape of Pasco County Fire Rescue.
She was pronounced dead at Pasco Regional Medical Center, Drape said.
