Majik Touch Cleaners recently purchased a lot in the West Pasco Industrial Park, State Road 54 just west of the Gunn Highway intersection, said Renee Dyer of Prudential Tropical Realty, who handled the transaction.

The company has five stores in west Pasco and plans to build a 6,000-square-foot facility for a "main plant for Pasco operations."

As many as 35 employees will work at this location. Two additional stores will be opening soon in west Pasco, said company president Peter Patel. Patel founded the company in 1988.

Greene Builders broke ground on two model homes in Phase VI of Fox Wood, the gated village at the master planned community of Trinity in southwest Pasco County.

Greene Builders is a second-generation family business that has built homes in Pasco and Pinellas counties since 1954. Company president David Greene was chosen Builder of the Year by the Pasco County Building Association in 1998.

Hungry Howie's Pizza and Subs stores of east Pasco sponsored a fundraiser to benefit the fire and police departments of New York and Washington, D.C. Their locations at Zephyrhills, Dade City and Wesley Chapel all participated.
