Coach Tony Dungy, on the offense: "We have to find a way to score touchdowns down there. It's tough to beat Minnesota with field goals."

DT Warren Sapp, on the loss: "We didn't get beat by (Randy) Moss and (Cris) Carter. We got beat by checkdowns to the damn tight end. Dink, dunk. Dink, dunk. Dink, dunk."

WR Keyshawn Johnson, on the taunting call: "People want to talk and we got the call. I don't have time to stand around and talk. I know the type of player I am. I guess (Kenny Wright) needed to say something to me."

Derrick Brooks, on the Bucs: "It's still early. We're going to be okay. If we had won this game 40-0, we wouldn't have anywhere to go. Now we know what we have to do."

John Lynch, on what it will take to win in Minnesota: "You know what it takes. It's making plays when the game is on the line."

Donnie Abraham on the Vikings: "Today, they were very patient. They took their time and they completed the throws we gave them. They were just very patient."

Sapp, on the 37-yard play to Byron Chamberlain that set up the Vikings' winning touchdown: "We had Brooks, Donnie and John Lynch there. That's our three best players, and he still made the catch."

Lynch, on the Vikings' winning drive: "We had opportunities to get off the field, but we didn't do it. You don't like teams to go 96 (yards) on you. We talked a lot about that in the offseason. That is not something we feel is a characteristic of our defense."

Right tackle Jerry Wunsch on the Bucs' performance: "It's obvious we haven't played anywhere close to the way we're capable of playing. Every drive, we felt we were going to end up in the end zone. There were just a couple of small things that held us back."

Sapp, on whether he would say anything to his teammates: "That's not my job. I'm going to let the coaches coach and the players play. That's all I can do."
