Coach Denny Green, on the game: "The offensive line held up well. That's an outstanding defensive line and you are not going to hold them out totally. But you can give yourself some time to make plays."

Green, on Brad Johnson: "Brad played well. Brad earned his bones here, and he did a great job of moving the ballclub and made some outstanding plays. His leadership is obvious. My hat is off to Tampa. They are a very good football team that had to do something very tough, which is win on the road against a team that hadn't won yet."

Green, on Cris Carter's one-handed catch: "That was a great one. It was at a critical time. He got one hand on it, also got a finger in the eye and it was a snatch. Cris grabbed it with one hand, snatched it, then brought it in with the other one."

Green, on fullback Jim Kleinsasser, who caught two passes for 13 yards in Minnesota's winning drive: "When it's all said and done, I'm hoping people are going to look at Jimmy Kleinsasser as the best fullback in the NFL. "

Kenny Wright, on being called for taunting: "You know, coming into the week Keyshawn (Johnson) had been calling (Vikings cornerback) Robert Tate things in the paper. He was out there talking the whole game, but he dropped the ball and I let him know about it a little bit. I didn't touch him, I didn't do anything. They just called a flag. It was my mistake, though."

Daunte Culpepper, on completing passes as he was hit: "It just showed that our offensive linemen played so well. I talked to them about finishing their blocks. A lot of times, the defender will get me with one arm but that won't bring me down. If they just stay in their chest, we are maybe going to make a play."

Randy Moss, on the Vikings: "We just had to come out here and execute and leave all the bickering and arguing at home."

Assistant coach Willie Shaw, on free agent Henry Jones' play at safety: "He's a pro. The guy walks in here on Wednesday and did an incredible job. He's been in the league. He isn't worried about Tampa."
