    Informative local guide available in print, online

    The Clearwater Public Library System's Reference Department recently completed a print edition and a new and improved online version of the Florida Resource and Opportunity Guide.

    The guide helps people who are looking for clubs, organizations, events, day trips and more throughout the Tampa Bay area.

    The online version can be searched alphabetically by the group name, subject heading or keyword. You can search FROG online for free at http://www.clearwater-fl.com/cpl/frogsearch.html.

    A print version is available for $8 at all Clearwater Public Library System locations.

    Reducing employee turnover seminar topic

    CLEARWATER -- Reducing employee turnover is the subject of a free seminar scheduled for Oct. 10 at Price Donoghue Ridenour CPA and Business Consultants office, 29605 U.S. 19 North, Suite 140. The program, which lasts about an hour, will be presented twice, at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. William Price, CPA, will be the speaker. Topics include what type of benefits help to attract employees, ways to motivate key employees and ways to reduce the cost of employee benefits, with an open question and answer period at the end.
