Police reportBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published October 3, 2000 Four men arrested, charged in burglaryZEPHYRHILLS -- Four men, two from Port Richey and two from Zephyrhills, were arrested Friday in connection with the Sept. 18 burglary of a Zephyrhills electronics store, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report stated. Miguel Weir Jr., 23, of 8250 Alnwick Circle in Port Richey and Dennis Garlock, 18,of 8136 Penwood Dr. in Port Richey each were charged with grand theft and burglary of a business. Brandon Simmons, 21, of 7902 Wire Road in Zephyrhills and a 17-year-old male, also from Zephyrhills, face identical charges. The Times is withholding the name of the 17-year-old because of his age. On Sept. 18, the owner of the Audio Cellular Store, located on State Road 54, reported nearly $8,000 of missing stereo equipment. All four men were taken to Land O'Lakes jail. Weir was released Saturday on $50,000 bail. Garlock was released Saturday on $10,000 bail.
