    If you are a registered Democrat and live in the appropriate district, you can vote in Democratic runoffs. If you are a registered Republican and live in the appropriate district, you can vote in Republican runoffs. All registered voters who live in the appropriate district can vote in universal contests. Your voter registration card will tell you whether you live in a district where an election is scheduled.

    CITRUS COUNTY

    County Commission District 5, Republican runoff: Scott Adams, Millie King

    County Commission District 5, Democratic runoff: Richard "Dick" Kaufman, Josh Wooten

    Tax Collector, Democratic runoff: Richard J. Brady, Lee Cooper

    HERNANDO COUNTY

    County Commission District 1, Democratic runoff: Patricia "Pat" Novy, Mary E. "Betty" Whitehouse

    County Commission District 5, Republican runoff: Paul H. Sullivan, William "Alonzo" Merritt

    Supervisor of Elections, Republican runoff: Susan Rupe, Gustave "Gus" Guadagnino

    PASCO COUNTY

    Sheriff, Republican runoff: Gil Thivener, Bob White

    TO REGISTER

    If you are not yet registered to vote, you have until Oct. 10 to register for the Nov. 7 general election. You can register at your Supervisor of Elections office or at one of many other public agencies. Call your supervisor for the most convenient location.
