The runoffBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published October 3, 2000 If you are a registered Democrat and live in the appropriate district, you can vote in Democratic runoffs. If you are a registered Republican and live in the appropriate district, you can vote in Republican runoffs. All registered voters who live in the appropriate district can vote in universal contests. Your voter registration card will tell you whether you live in a district where an election is scheduled.
